Head Legal and Founder Trustee – Precision Foundation

Under the leadership of Dr. Suhasini Shah, the Precision Foundation has grown to be a dynamic organization contributing towards the social upkeep and development of Solapur and the welfare of PCL employees. Dr. Shah has effortlessly garnered many roles, right from an educationalist to an activist, and has supported projects in the area of education, health, sports and culture. Dr. Shah is the Director of Precision Group Employees Credit Co-operative Society, Founder Trustee of Precision Foundation, President of Youth Hostels Association of India, Solapur Branch, Director – Chitale Clinic Private Limited, Member of the Policy Holders Council of LIC Division, Trustee of Dhanwantari Arogyadham, Chairman of the Local Management Committee, Laxmibai Bhaurao Patil College, Solapur and Trustee of Sonamata Shikshan Sanstha.

A gold medalist in medicine, Dr. Suhasini Shah has always has great thrust towards knowledge advancement and meritocracy. Dr. Shah is a highly learned individual and has gained expertise in the area of medicine, law and management. She has been a university topper in labor law and taxation. An alumnus of the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, Dr. Shah also possesses a degree in medico-legal systems from Symbiosis University.

For her immense contribution to the industry and society, Dr. Shah has been awarded the “Savitribai Phule Award” instituted by Maharashtra Kamgar Kalyan Mandal, Solapur and the “Mahila Gaurav Puraskar” by BIG College of Engineering and Sushilatai Gaikwad Trust, Solapur

Vice President – Finance and Accounts

Mr. Joshi has successfully lead many roles imperative for any growing organization. In over a decade with Precision Camshafts Limited, Mr. Joshi has successfully managed two mergers and acquisitions for the organization. He led the organization effectively with diligence, which was required during the involvement of Tata Sons. Mr. Joshi has been a significant contributor towards all the expansion plans of the organization and has managed the profitability of the organization through innovative cost reduction processes, despite the external environment and conditions of the industry.

Mr. Joshi has showcased strong leadership skills in cross departmental responsibilities. He has successfully handled purchase and production of the domestic unit & has been instrumental in the successful implementation of SAP– ERP at PCL.

Mr Joshi is a Bachelor of Commerce and also possesses a Diploma in Business Management from Bharati Vidhyapeeth. He is actively involved in Community Services and is a director of ITI Mangalwedha (a vocational training institute). He is a trustee of Sonamata Vidhyalay and an active member and trustee of Precision Foundation.

Mr. Gadre is a Science Graduate and has also done an Advance Diploma in Industrial Engineering, PDFT. Prior to joining PCL, Mr. Gadre was working with Dhanman Precicast Pvt. Ltd. & Garware Wallropes Ltd. from 1993 to 1995.

Mr. Gadre has been honored with a lot of industry recognition. He has received a quality award “Achieved Ford -Q1 states award” and a Major contribution merit award from Hyundai. He is also a member of the Hyundai Vendor Quality Forum that is actively involved in cost reduction, continuous improvement in quality, sharing and reducing logistic cost & reducing inventory for the vendors of Hyundai.

Assistant General Manager – Design & Engineering Services

Mr. Valse started his journey with PCL way back in 1994 as Senior Engineer and has consistently grown with the organization. While at PCL he has effervescently garnered many roles ranging from plant maintenance, inventory and maintenance cost control management, manufacturing, development, leading continues improvement processes, setting new projects and independently setting up Unit 1 . He has also been responsible for managing and maintaining manufacturing process at PCL. Part of the core team , he has been involved in the implementation of the ISO-9000 / QS 9000 / ISO- TS 16949 systems within the organization.

In his current role as Assistant General Manager – Development & Engineering Service, Mr. Valse is responsible for the overall product and process development within the organization. He is also responsible for tooling design & manufacturing, vendor development required for tooling manufacturing, process & product development and all resource planning required for the product development. He is completely responsible for execution of all the stages of product development, Technical Review Meetings with customer, APQP, PPAP, & successful validation of the product at the customer end. Mr. Valse is also responsible for special equipment selection, techno-commercial decisions, procurement and installation in all respect.

Widely traveled Mr. Valse has represented PCL for many strategic intitiatives including bringing in best practices for the PCL EOU in plant layout and foundry processes, identifying and generating new business opportunities, new product development, quality benchmarking initiatives.

Prior to joining PCL Mr. Valse was working with Shivaji works Ltd. Solapur, PEAP Pvt. Ltd. & Satguru Agro Industries Ltd at senior leadership positions.

Assistant General Manager – Projects

In his six years in PCL he has been responsible for projects and the overall development, growth & running of the Machine shop. His expertise has resulted in manufacturing chilled cast iron camshafts at PCL. An extremely passionate person Mr. Ajit Jain has brought with him many best practices within PCL and has extensively participated in the organizational building process. Prior to joining PCL Mr. Ajit Jain was working with Bajaj Auto Ltd., Chakan.
