Functional Experience : 12– 14 yrs.
Purpose of the Position : To monitor and maintain all Laboratory operations as per guidelines which ensures the supplier companies continually develop their process and verify their systems. To verify and make the systems which ensures accurate & Reliable test results outcomes. Interact with Customers; attend Customer audits / Visits & complaints. Committed to Customer satisfaction through continual improvements, new technology implementation, Work on new product development in view of metallurgist
Note: Experience in CI Foundry as worked as Metallurgist / Foundry Expert with Education Qualification M Tech Metallurgist / B Teach Metallurgist
Responsibilities :
- Monitor and maintain all Laboratory operations like Raw Material inspection, Spectrometer analysis and Microstructure inspection.
- Committed for Supplier development through continually develop their process in line with PCL requirements and verify their systems to ensure they are compliant with the end customer’s needs.
- To verify & make the systems which ensures accurate & Reliable test results. New technology adoptions
- To work effectively in development of new project for metallurgy set up activity
- Committed for enhancing good relationship with Vendors and continual improvement in raw Material Quality.
- Co-ordinate to perform Part process approval plan (PPAP) activities & related documentation
under New Product development projects like Chilled Cast Iron, Ductile Iron and Induction
Hardening PPAP. - To verify the accuracy and reliability of in-house test results through external NABL labs.
- Effective manpower planning and control resources through best to fit hiring, Effective training
and Multitasking approach and proper distribution of work load. - Responsible for Process & Quality audits, Customer audits etc. Develop and ensure compliance to all IATF 16949 regulations for metallurgical process.
- Interact & Support Suppliers for any quality issue of raw materials.
- Interaction to the supplier and purchase regarding raw material development or 4M changes if
any. - Work with zero accident targets in department at all stages.
- Effective implementation of best practices of 5S.
